Manager of Content Research

Ackert Inc., a cutting-edge business development SaaS and consulting company, is looking for a Manager of Content Research to execute special projects that directly benefit its marketing and sales functions. This person is responsible for creating cross-vertical marketing + creative strategies that result in evergreen content. They will be expected to research, support, and iterate high-performing, measurable B2B campaigns (e.g. blogs, white papers, articles, chapters) across multiple professional service verticals (legal, accounting, consulting, engineering, etc.) while maintaining brand integrity. Depending on the project, this person will report to the Senior Marketing Manager or the CEO.


This person possesses excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and has a strong grasp of qualitative research. They possess keen problem-solving skills and have a passion for creative strategy, including but not limited to: online research + keeping up on industry trends, surveying and interviewing current and potential buyers, understanding and contributing to thought leadership strategy, authoring and ghost-writing short-form and long-form content, developing earned media for the company, implementing content optimization tactics, etc. The ideal candidate is creative thinker who appreciates the power content plays as a catalyst to growth.


Responsibilities:
  • Execute our market research and thought leadership strategies, in concert with the Sr. Marketing Manager and creative team
  • Author and/or ghost write short and long-form content for the company
  • Set and maintain a high bar for content, ensuring that what is produced is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, tone of voice and optimized for search
  • Identify leads and strategic allies through content research interviews and work with the Sales team to strategize follow-up campaigns
  • Help evaluate content performance to ensure we are on target and learnings are implemented for future campaigns

Role Requirements:
  • 3+ years of content marketing, marketing strategy, quantitative market research or other relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of the B2B professional services sector
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Successful track record with earned media
  • Possesses a professional but friendly and accessible writing style
  • Ability to examine research and spot potential strategic alliances and prospects
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and confident conceptualizing and executing complex projects with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an innovative mindset
  • Research-oriented with a data-driven approach that can track and optimize content for performance
  • Eager to join a mission-driven company
  • Experience working with and creating content for ad platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter
  • An understanding of analytics and creative strategy development

We are seeking a Junior Operations Specialist to help manage the day-to-day operations of the company, with a focus on the financial management routines. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, customer-centric, and delivery-focused, with a track record of exceeding expectations.


Responsibilities:
  • Calendar Management (scheduling calls with existing clients, prepare meeting materials, etc.)
